hi my fiancee and me want to buy a HDB Resale. She has four other sisters, sister A,B,C, and D. She and Sister A,B have ownership for their current HDB resale which was bought without any CPF grant under the PR Sibling scheme which was abolished by HDB. Sister A also want to withdraw her name as she is also applying for a BTO as well. Then sister C and D will come in to take over from Sister A and my fiancee.

The housing loan for my fiancee's current HDB Resale was taken up from OCBC. In order for us to buy a BTO or Resale, she need to withdraw her name from her current HDB. according to OCBC, as their bank loan is considered as part purchase, they need to draw up a new bank loan when a party withdraws her name out.

my question is,

now that the PR Sibling scheme is abolished, can Sister C and D still take over from my fiancee and Sister A ? HDB says no but i need a second opinion as they are notoriously fickle minded.

Evening Woon,

The clear answer is NO. You are aware of the answers but doubt your understanding of the system? For sister A and your fiancee to purchase unit on their own, they have to sell the unit into the open market unless sister C & D have converted to SC.
