I am currently staying in Australia ( PR ), having a landed property. I do not have any property in Singapore, if I were to buy a private property in Singapore, is it consider as first property, must I sell of the property in Australia?

Hi Flora

The answer is nope, you don't have to. I met a Singaporean client recently who is based overseas and her situation is almost the same as yours and would like to purchase a private property for investment in Singapore. I introduced a banker to her and managed to get a 80% loan in principle.
