I am getting married and my parents want to transfer a newly purchased BTO (have not received keys) to me. Can this be done before the handover of the BTO flat? Does it happen after we have registered our marriage?

Good morning,

To clarify, HDB does not allow your parents to decide whether they transfer the property to you or not as they are all under the purview of HDB, therefore HDB has to approve such transfers and it typically requires the owners to fulfill the 5 years Minimum Occupation Period in order to do so. Do check with HDB on this instead.
