I bought a house in jb when I was single, before married, in year 2008. After that I married with my Singaporean husband in year 2010. Is the restriction of dispose oversea property still applies on me if I want to buy bto with my husband?

Yes it does. The waiting window will be 30 months if you are looking at BTO. 15 months if you are looking at resale.

Hi,

1) The number rule one rule from the HDB is all applicants are not supposed to own any private residential property locally and overseas.
2) Your HFE application will be rejected once declared you have ownership of a private residential property.
3) The logic is you may stay in your private residential property rather than buy an HDB flat which is considered a privilege and subsidized for the citizens and residents.
4) You have to observe a 15-month wait-out period after disposing of the private residential property locally and overseas to be eligible to buy a resale HDB flat.
5) You have to observe a 30-month wait-out period after disposing of the private residential property locally and overseas to be eligible to apply for a BTO/SBF buying a resale HDB flat with HDB loan and grants.
