I plan to buy a condo and stay there. I have a HDB which has passed the 5 years OP and I do not have any outstanding loan. Can I rent out my whole unit? Will it get approved by HDB?

Dear Dave,

You may rent out your HDB unit once the MOP is fulfilled. However, you would need to apply from HDB for approval before you can rent out.

Evening Dave,

As long as you have fulfilled your MOP, HDB would most likely to grant your application.
Without existing loan, your should be able to get a maximum of 80% for your upcoming purchase.
