I sent my daughter to Singapore in July,2023 for studies. She searched online and found a group of three girls who were looking for 4th girl to stay in an apartment with them near her college. They already had a tenant who were ready to sign an agreement with the landlord of the apartment. The lease was signed only by the tenant for 2 years with "Permitted Occupiers" as all four females.
Once they start living My daughter called me many times at 1-2 a.m. about disturbances/parties caused by other occupants and not letting her properly study or sleep.
Now I have decided to move her out of apartment to allow her study as that was the main purpose of sending to Singapore.
When I told this to the main Tenant he said she has to stay for two years as he has signed agreement for two years. But my daughter haven't signed any agreement with landlord or the tenant.
Staying there will spoil her career.
By law, does she really has to stay??
