Hi,

Should you purchase a HDB flat, you will be required to dispose off all interest in private properties (both local and overseas) latest within 6 months upon the HDB flat purchase.

If you have good or valid reasons, you may wish to write in the HDB to appeal for you to keep the property. Approval by HDB will be on a case-by-case basis.

I am experienced and well-versed in both HDB and private transactions. I will be able to assist you in your property plans. Please get in touch with me for a more in-depth discussion.

Should you need require further assistance in matters relating to property, please contact me at my mobile 9748 6305  . I will be happy to assess and share with you the possibilities for you in the current market.

Thank you.

Best regards,
Robbie Chen

Hi,

1) According to the weblink: https://www.hdb.gov.sg/cs/infoweb/e-resale/resale-purchase-of-an-hdb-resale-flat, section 29.5(a). It is only residential property that need to dispose of upon purchase of an HDB flat.
2) Thus you are able to buy an HDB flat as long as you meet the eligibility criteria listed by HDB:
