Is there a way to include my wife as the co-owner of a private property while i am the one paying for the mortgage? If so, how should i go about it and how long does it take to complete?

Is any CPF monies involved in this private property? If yes, then there will be some financial considerations involved. You may still be the sole borrower for the property and be responsible for the repayment. The key thing is why are you looking to make such a part transfer? If your wife do not currently own any residential properties in Singapore, she will be eligible to purchase another residential property without ABSD if she is a Singapore Citizen, or at 5% ABSD if she is a Permanent Resident. Yes, this is possible via part-share. However, take note that stamp duties is payable, and you will need to re-do your loan to include 2 co-owners. Hence I'm not sure what's your motive of doing so, perhaps you can share?
