It's depends on what you are looking for. Investment (eg. rental or capital appreciation) or own stay. I am not sure whether you heard about the future development near Lakesfront. Govt has been planning to development jurong as the next CBD area where hotels, eateries like in holland v etc will be.
if for investment, there will be a great chance to be tenanted out to professionals working in jurong or capital gain if the plan for jurong lake district really comes true.
if for own stay, its very convenient to lakeside mrt and to reputable schools like river valley high and rulang primary schools.
