The Tenant shall pay documentation and administrative fees of Singapore Dollars $800 to the Agency *** Properties SUCH FEE IS PAYABLE UPON THE SIGNING OF THIS AGREEMENT.

With my 3 times renting and signing contract, I haven't encountered this before. Why would the house owner's agent charge us with doumentation and administrative fees? He is not our agent? Please help me. Thank you!

tenant has to pay stamp duties, tv licence. if you have contacted directly with the agt for the unit, he is entitled to the service fee +GST .otherwise, you will have to pay your agt..
