Dear Tan Ling,
It is already a very commonly seen practice now in new launches.
For the latest launch in Tree House @ Chestnut Avenue, Lian He Wan Bao has actually reported that there were a total of approx 1000 cheques collected for the VVIP preview for the 429units project. Buyers were at the scene to wait anxiously for their turns to enter the showflat, whether to make a booking of unit or to view the showflat first beofore making up their mind to book later.
ERA is the joint Marketing Agency for Flamingo Valley. Flamingo Valley is a project launched by Frasers Centrepoint - Big and well-known company, and ERA has been in the industry for long enough to be awarded SuperBrands in Singapore. You can be assured that your cheque will be returned to you, shall you decided not to purchase the unit after viewing the showflat and/or when prices are known.
Let me know if I am able to share with yourself the project's information, or to do up the paperwork.
Regards,
Brandon - ERA Marketing Director
