Hi,

If you are uncomfortable with the agent's working style and feel that she's not working with your interests in mind, you should tell her directly. After all ultimately you will be the one holding the property for the long-term. If she's still not receptive and still pushing you to commit to something you are not comfortable with, I suggest you should walk away from everything right from the start before the problem escalates into a nightmare. House hunting should be a pleasant process and a mutually respectful working partnership between agent and client. Do note you also have the CEA as an avenue if things go awry. Dont understand why the need to advise offline. Just drop her a text to indicate that you do not wish to receive anymore follow ups from her. If she persists, then you may lodge a complain against her. Also, she should not be disclosing your contact details to bankers without your permission. If she has done so, she can also be in trouble for failing to meet the PDPA requirements.
