Hi Mr Aszri,

For your wife, her property count is 1 due to the HDB flat. For yourself, your property count is 0. Therefore if you purchase a private property by yourself, there is no ABSD. However if you include your wife as one of the purchaser, the ABSD for a 2nd property will apply.

Hi

I assume you are just under occupier status for the flat and Singaporean. If you purchase the property under your sole name, no ABSD is applicable, since there is no property count under your name.

If you buy together with your wife, the ABSD will be applicable since its her 2nd property, which means a 20% ABSD assuming she is singaporean.
