I am an SPR looking for buying a property with S$80K from CPF used in down payment and planning to use S$1,000 every month for EMI payment from CPF every month thereafter. In case if I sell after 4 years of holding, how much will I have to repay to CPF. Do I have to repay the monthly amount used from CPF as well as the down payment portion?

Hi, when you sell your condo unit let's say 4 years later in order to skip paying the seller stamp duty, you will have to return back the cpf used plus accrued interest, and also minus the lawyer fee and agent commission, the rest shall be your sales proceeds. Pls feel free to let me know if you need any assistance.

Afternoon,

Upon sales of your property, whatever amount that have being used for that specific property will need to be returned to your CPF account, along with interest, before you can declare the balance, other than mortgage loan, as your profit/loss.
