I had rented out my 2 bedrooms condo without going through agent. May I know what is the proper procedure to do?
So far what I know is as below:-
1. Create the tenancy agreement & inventory list for both parties.
2. Pay the stamp duty.
3. Transfer the SP services.
*Anything else I need to do?

Hi Sir,

You have missed out the most important thing to do. That is to check the tenants documents and pass validity, this is to ensure they are legally allowed to stay in Singapore and are not over-stayers.

With the recent news that rental condos are being used for vice activities, the onus is on you to ensure your property does not fall into such vice traps.

You just need to ensure the tenants have paid the tenancy property tax, and have the min working SG permit to avoid illegal occupants issues.

As for the tenancy paperworks, as long both of you okie will be fine. Cross the fingers, hope no troubles with tenants in the future. You need to manage it on your own.
