I'm a singaporean and intend to marry a foreigner. But she has a property under her name. If we purchase a flat under foreign spouse scheme does she has to sell her property? Thanks...

Afternoon,

If you are above 35 years old, you can choose to purchase under single scheme, prior to getting married. Else your spouse will be considered as an essential occupier for the unit that both of you are buying. Therefore, your spouse have to sell off or remove her name from the private property that she owns.
