Our tenancy contract includes “not to assign, sublet or part with the possession of the said premises or any part thereof without the written consent of the landlord. In case this clause is breached, the Landlord shall be at liberty to terminate the tenancy immediately and the entire security deposit to be forfeited by the Landlord”.we brought a couple to share a room with us. We informed agent but Owner rejected and warn us to ask new people to move out. We asked owner to allow this couple some time to find other place. They moved out after 2 weeks. Owner checked and allowed us to continue stay. Now the contract is end and unit has been handed over to agent. Agent attended inspection and checked everything alright except two things to repair. We are agreed and paid for that. However, Owner raised more defects threaten us to agree whatever he doesas we breached the subletting clause during our stay.he still have right to do so as he has already agreed not to do action on that time?
