SPR buyers for HDB resale unit must fulfill the following requirements:

1) Fulfill SPR holding for more than 3 years.
2) Purchase the unit with SC or another SPR owner or essential occupier.
3) Obtain sufficient fund to finance the mortgage.

For 35 years eligible to buy resale flat, it always recommend to start house hunting 3 months after your 35 years old birthday. You only can signed any resale property upon you reached 35 years old if not the doc will be void in front of law. All your deposit will be fortified by the seller.

Sorry mistaken that you are SC waiting to be 35 years old while you inquire under PR status.

It make no sense for you to start house hunting before you can buy the resale flat. Waste of your times and make your mood bad too.

Recommend that you start house hunting earliest 2 weeks before May 2017.
