Asked by
My husband has previously bought a house under HDB which is now under his sister's name. Currently we are both staying in a 5 room HDB flat. Both our names are in owners of our current flat.

For both flats, the HDB loan was applied and approved. If we are to sell our current flat, are we (a) still eligible to buy a brand new HDB flat with a bank loan (as I understand that the HDB loan can only be applied twice) or (b) buy a DBSS flat ? Thank you.

Afternoon Haslina,

Are both HDB units are purchased from HDB, with or without grant? Are they new HDB flats? If you have used up your subsidies twice, you might not be eligible.
If you are eligible to purchase the DBSS, you would most likely have to take bank loan.
