Hi Guru,

If a property agent stated a minimum price which we met but then went ahead to increase the min price by 18k citing reasons (which honestly have a lot of gaps; the agent now has legal power to make decisions regarding the estate but didn’t before and thus has appointed another agent), what can we do about such a situation?

Hi,

If there is no offer with consideration that the Sellers accept, there is nothing you can really do.

However, if the offer with consideration has been accepted by the Seller, i.e banked in your cheque, but refused to issue the OTP, you may wish to bring up the matter to the courts to pursue the deal.

I am experienced and well-versed in both HDB and private transactions. I will be able to assist you in your property plans. Please get in touch with me for a more in-depth discussion.

Should you need require further assistance in matters relating to property, please contact me at my mobile 9748 6305  . I will be happy to assess and share with you the possibilities for you in the current market.

Thank you.
