Hi,
You must be a SPR minimally for 3yrs before you can buy a HDB.
Also, a single SPR cannot buy a HDB. Your spouse needs to be either a SPR (also minimal SPR for 3yrs) or a Singapore Citizen.

Hi Ms. Lee,

1) The HDB policy requires an SPR to hold the residential status for a minimum period of 3 yrs before being eligible to buy an HDB flat.
2) You can only register an intent to buy on 20th Aug 24. Therefore you cannot offer an OTP earlier than that.
3) Make sure you are meeting the rest of the conditions listed under the eligibility schemes before making any commitment.
4) It is also wise to work out your finance as earlier as possible so that you won't be financially over-commit in your purchase.
5) You may start your viewing around 1 month before your 3 yrs wait-out period is met. So that when you found your home, the possibility of the seller waiting for you is high.
