Currently, My wife and I are looking to purchase a dual key EC unit. We intend to stay with my parents. The latest cooling measures states that "Sales of new dual-key EC units will be restricted to multi-generational families only". Both my parents and I owned a 5 rooms HDB flat. I understand that I need to sell off my current flat before getting a EC unit. What about my parents? Do they need to sell their flat too?
