Hi, no one could keep both EC and HDB at the same time. You can only keep 1 and sell the other.

Regardless whether you are SC or PR household, purchasing an EC means you have to sell your hdb within 6 months of key collection to EC.

For your case, if you wish to have 2 properties (one for investment), one would have to convert to SC, and purchase a private property. But these will involve other financial calculations involved such as ABSD payable.

PR household cannot keep HDB should they wish to upgrade to private property. May I understand your housing requirements so to be able to value-add further? Thanks and hope to speak to you soon.
